MEET THE TEAM
MIKE DUNHAM aka "Karl"
President
Hi I’m Mike, (some folks call me Karl... others just call me Mike... but that’s a story for another day)
I’ve been working in commercial retail for pretty much my entire professional life. I started out my career in upstate New York back in 1983 as a Marketing Director at a Pyramid Companies mall. I moved into mall leasing, and worked on mall development with companies such as First Union REIT, Edward J DeBartolo Corporation, Gator Investments, Holladay Properties, and for the last 16 years.. Bass Pro Shops.

On January 1, 2020 With a dream for a new adventure, I formed Dunham Development with the idea that I could assist and advise many unique and special retail companies with their expansion strategy .... especially on a national and international basis.
I’ve been fortunate to be on both sides of the fence…doing real estate as a developer, and selecting real estate locations as a retailer. I’ve studied nearly every market in the country and I’ve traveled endlessly in search of the perfect sites.
Now it is time for me to put all of that great past experience and knowledge to work for you and your company.

Research Analyst Intern
I’m Nick DiMarco, a research analyst intern who is poised to find our clients the best locations across the United States. I assist Mike in performing analysis on demographics, land, and local ordinances customized to each client’s needs as they expand into new markets.

I am a recent graduate of Indiana University and currently working towards the completion of my MBA. I attend the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, concentrated in Real Estate Development. Professionally, I have worked in my family’s Real Estate Development, Asset Management, and Construction Equipment Rental companies for the past five summers. I am fortunate to use my academic background and prior professional experience and work with the Dunham Development team to fulfill the company motto, “Help Me Help You ®.”
ALLIE DUNHAM
Marketing & Branding Coordinator
Hi there! I'm Allie. I started my career when I was 16 when my mom and I opened up a gift boutique in West Chester, Ohio. It was that experience that inspired me to attend the University of Dayton to study Business and Entrepreneurship. I didn't know exactly what area of business I wanted to go into so I studied a variety of specialties including Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and International Business Management. I have always had an interest in design and making things look aesthetically pleasing so my career has taken the direction of marketing, branding, social media management, and graphic design. I currently work with multiple companies, including a few of my own, running social media accounts, creating brand portfolios, logos, websites, etc. My specialty in marketing and design is how I came to work with yet another family business: Dunham Development.
